Ernie and I got away on our holiday trip Thursday (July 28th ) in the early afternoon, as soon as I finished my typing. (Yes!)
After the three-hour drive, we spent the first night with the kids in Kamloops (any excuse to visit our daughter and new son-in-law!) Actually, their cute apartment

(Kamloops cityscape and bridge over the Thompson River) puts me in a holiday mood any time!
