Ohhh... I like this one! ;-)
Reminds me of a song I like to hear...
"No milk today..."
Have a lovely weekend,
Gabi
I have a few of these, Violet & remember the deliveries, especially my grandmother using them. And there were little ones for cream.
Nostalgia awakes!
This one reminds me of when I delivered bottled milk to customers in old city tenements in Scotland -- thousands of stairs every morning before going to school. No wonder I fell asleep at my desk! :)
Thank you so much, Gabi, Linda and Peter! Linda, I have a faint memory of these milk bottles too, sealed with paper tops it seems?
Peter, wow - I did not know that about you. Are the memories good or bad--or maybe sleep-inducing?
